Ingredients
- 250 ml (unsweetened) plant-based milk
- 1 tsp Aligma Blue Spirulina Powder
- 1–2 tsp maple syrup, agave syrup, or honey
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- Optional: frothed milk as topping
Preparation

Warm the plant-based milk
Pour the 250 ml (unsweetened) plant-based milk into a small saucepan and heat over low to medium heat.
Let it warm through but do not bring to the boil — this keeps the spirulina colour looking its best. -
Mix the spirulina
Add 1 teaspoon of Aligma Blue Spirulina Powder to a mug.
Add 1–2 tablespoons of the warm milk and stir into a smooth paste without lumps.
(This ensures a beautiful, even blue latte.) -
Add sweetener and vanilla
Add 1–2 tsp maple syrup, agave syrup, or honey to the mug.
Then add ½ tsp vanilla extract.
Stir well again. -
Pour in the rest of the milk
Slowly pour the remaining warm milk into the mug while stirring continuously, so everything blends evenly. -
Optional topping
If you want a creamy finish: - Froth extra plant-based milk until foamy
- Spoon or pour it on top of the latte
- For a soft colour gradient, mix a small pinch of spirulina through the foam
