Warehouse Manager
What you will do.
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to own end-to-end warehouse operations at our Netherlands facility. This is a senior operational role requiring strong process discipline, regulatory awareness, and the ability to drive continuous improvement.
You will manage inbound, production, outbound, fulfilment, administration, and compliance, and play a central role in our ongoing automation and efficiency agenda.
Your key areas.
- Oversee and execute all inbound, production, and outbound activities
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse in line with Skal and NVWA standards
- Own physical stock integrity, locations, labelling, and condition
- Lead daily warehouse operations and ensure throughput targets are met
- Execute and schedule all filling operations (capsules, sachets, bulk-to-retail)
- Develop and maintain filling schedules aligned with sales demand and stock levels
- Coordinate across procurement, production, e-commerce, logistics, and finance
- Monitor and drive efficiencies in bulk-to-retail conversion rates
- Identify and reduce waste, yield loss, and rework in the production process
- Manage order fulfilment for Shopify, Bol.com, and Amazon including pick, pack, and dispatch
- Ensure SLA compliance for all channels and shipping carriers
- Coordinate with QLS, LBA, FBA, and other logistics partners
- Handle returns, damaged goods, and escalations in a timely manner
- Implement and embed automation tools and workflows across warehouse operations
- Develop, document, and enforce SOPs for all key warehouse processes
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce manual handling and improve throughput
- Benchmark current workflows and identify optimisation opportunities
- Ensure full adherence to Skal (organic certification) requirements
- Operate in compliance with NVWA food safety and labelling regulations
- Maintain full batch traceability from supplier intake to consumer dispatch
- Prepare documentation for regulatory inspections and internal audits
- Maintain H&S standards and conduct regular checks and corrective actions
- Own cycle counting, stock reconciliation, and inventory accuracy
- Monitor stock levels and flag reorder triggers to procurement
- Manage quarantine areas for non-conforming or pending-inspection stock
- Align physical inventory with system records at all times
What we are looking for.
- Fluent Dutch speaker (written and spoken) — non-negotiable
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of warehouse management or operations experience
- Hands-on experience with e-commerce fulfilment (Shopify, Amazon, Bol.com preferred)
- Working knowledge of Skal and/or NVWA regulatory requirements
- Strong process mindset, able to write SOPs, build schedules, and enforce standards
- Proficient with WMS, ERP, or inventory management software
- Experience in bulk-to-retail conversion or food/supplement production environments
- Experience in a fast-growing e-commerce or FMCG environment
- Familiarity with automation tools, barcode/scan systems, or WMS implementation
- English working proficiency for internal communications and supplier correspondence
- Background in organic, food, or nutraceutical warehouse environments
